RACE CONTROL ROSTER
RHKYC relies on its members to run one-design or 'Class' racing throughout the racing season, with members being rostered not more than once a season. Racing may take place on Saturdays, Sundays and occasionally on a Public Holiday and the venue could be Harbour, Middle Island, Lamma, Port Shelter or Clearwater Bay.
Members with limited Race Control experience are usually rostered as results officers or assistants - more experienced members may be rostered as Race Officer (RO) or Assistant Race Officer (ARO).
In order to apply for Full Membership, members need to be able to demonstrate that they have completed at least three race control duties, once per year in the most recent 5-year period.
If you need to fulfil this requirement, or you would like to be more involved in the running of the Club's racing, please contact
Dilys Wong with your details, and ask to be included on the next roster.
PROTEST COMMITTEE ROSTER
Protests can be heard in the Protest Room in the Sailing Centre.
If you are allocated a duty on a Monday evening,
Dilys Wong (2239 0361) will telephone you on Monday morning to advise you that you will be required that evening.
If the nominated Chairman happens to be in the Fleet where a protest needs to be heard, he/she may wish to pass over the Chair to another suitable member of his/her committee.
