The General Committee at its meeting on 24 October 2023 approved the following amendment to Bye-Laws:
11.1 Yacht racing shall be conducted in accordance with the World Sailing Racing Rules of Sailing, the Sailing Federation of Hong Kong, China Prescriptions thereto and such sailing instructions as shall be issued by the Sailing Committee. All yachts participating in any race shall comply with all instructions issued by and regulations specified from time to time by the Sailing Committee.
19.8 d. Members must not create any annoyance, nuisance or disturbance or cause damage to the Club’s facilities, or to adjacent boats, while on a mooring or alongside the Club’s facilities. This includes but not limited to grinding, power sanding and spray painting, making excessive noise and the disposal of sewage, refuse or rubbish except in accordance with the instructions of the Club or the Bye-Laws of the Club.
h. Members shall take all necessary steps to ensure that the waters of the Marine Facilities area shall not be fouled. No rubbish, sanding or scraping residue, sewage, fuel, oil, toxic chemicals, or similar items, shall be permitted to enter the water, or be placed upon pontoons or on the adjacent shore area.
