All Clubhouses operate as usual.
Sampan / Marine / Core Sports
- Sailing, rowing and paddle sports courses are suspended.
- Members should return their yachts back to their regular mooring.
- No boat should stay alongside Club pontoons when the Signal 3 or above is hoisted.
Kellett Island - When RAISED TO a Signal 3, the sampan service to/from the Noon Day Gun will suspend service. The sampan may only transport Club staff and members to and from moored boats to assist with typhoon preparations. When LOWERED TO a Signal 3, the sampan service will resume service as normal.
Middle Island - The sampan will operate in a Signal 3. Should a T8 be expected, the sampan will cease service one hour before the raising of the T8.
Shelter Cove - When RAISED TO a Signal 3, the sampan may only transport Club staff and members to and from moored boats to assist with typhoon preparations and this service will stop one hour before a T8 is raised. When LOWERED TO a Signal 3, the sampan service will resume as normal. Whilst a Signal 3 is in effect, the sampan service to/from Pak Sha Wan Public Pier will suspend service.
F&B Service
When RAISED TO a Signal 3, F&B service continues to operate as usual.
When LOWERED TO a Signal 3:
Kellett Island – F&B service will resume no later than two hours after the signal is lowered to a 3. If, however, the signal is not lowered to a signal 3 by 1900hrs, there will be no dinner service in the Compass Room, Bistro and Sports Bar.
Middle Island - F&B service will resume no later than two hours after the signal is lowered to a 3. If, however, the signal is not lowered to a signal 3 by 1100hrs, Middle Island will remain closed.
Shelter Cove - F&B service will resume no later than two hours after the signal is lowered to a 3. If, however, the signal is not lowered to a signal 3 by 1800hrs, Shelter Cove will remain closed.
Other Club Facilities
All other Club facilities (gym, squash, bowling, pool, etc) will continue as normal.
Sampan / Marine / Core Sports
Sampan service will stop one hour before the Signal 8 is hoisted and will resume no later than two hours after the Signal 8 is lowered.
F&B Service
When RAISED TO a Signal 8, F&B service will stop no later than two hours prior to the Signal 8 being raised. The Main Bar will REMAIN OPEN for drinks and microwave food. Be reminded that at Middle Island, the sampan will stop one hour before the Signal 8 is raised so Middle Island must be evacuated.
Other Club Facilities
Reception is closed (and also therefore squash and snooker).
The gym and changing rooms are open.
All other facilities are closed.
All clubhouses and services are closed
(including Main Bar but only if the signals are hoisted out of hours).
Service might be affected if staff impeded from getting to work.
Sailing, rowing and paddle sports courses suspended.
F&B service is unaffected so long as the signal is RAISED DURING normal operating hours.
If the black rainstorm signal is raised BEFORE normal operating hours:
Kellett Island – F&B service will resume no later than two hours after the black rainstorm signal is lowered. If, however, the signal is not lowered by 1900hrs, there will be no dinner service in the Compass Room, Bistro and Sports Bar.
Middle Island - F&B service will resume no later than two hours after the signal is lowered. If, however, the signal is not lowered by 1100hrs, Middle Island will remain closed.

Generally the pool will remain open when a thunderstorm signal is raised however if the thunderstorm or lightning is in the vicinity of the Club, members must leave the pool when directed by lifeguards.
