The RHKYC Charity Foundation Ltd is looking for a high caliber individual to fill the post of Part-time Administrator.
The Charity Foundation holds about twenty events yearly. The Administrator will report to Chairman of the Charity Foundation and be responsible for providing administrative support to the Board of Directors on all charity projects, activities and events, including but not limited to the liaison with NGOs, RHKYC and other stakeholders, the management of volunteer databases and the attendance and minute taking for the quarterly Foundation Board meetings
The initial contract for the position will be 12 months. It is expected that the successful candidate will work for about 72 days a year depending on the initiatives of the Foundation. Typically, 1-2 days of work per week are required, increasing to 3 days during peak months.
We look for an experienced professional with:
- An accredited Degree from a Hong Kong or foreign tertiary institution.
- At least 5 years’ experience on administrative work.
- Good people management skills.
- A self-starter capable of working independently while also being a strong team player.
- Mature, positive, pleasant and amiable personality.
- Good command of written and spoken Cantonese and English, with Putonghua as an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office software.
- Willing to work on weekends and Public Holidays based on the business needs of the Charity Foundation.
- Preference will be given to those with solid experiences with charity organisations or NGOs.
- Knowledge and experience of sailing, rowing or paddling is an advantage.
