China and Overseas Events Sailing and Training Circular Crew Board Seminars

Single Handed
Double Handed

Optimist Gold Squad (Age 8-11 / <35kg)

  • Weekend training day: Sunday 0930-1630hrs
  • Optional Training Thursdays  1600hrs to 1800 hrs
  • Equipment is provided by the RHKYC although private boat ownership is encouraged
  • Monthly coaching fee 3100 HKD, 10% discount in the coaching fees for the private boat owners
  • Coach to sailors ratio 1:10

Optimist Development (Age 10-12 / <40kg)

  • Training days and times: Saturday  0930-1630hrs
    • Optional Training Wednesday  1600hrs to 1800hrs
  • Sailors must have their own equipment, 10% discount in the coaching fees for the private boat owners
  • Monthly coaching fee 3100 HKD
  • Coach to sailors ratio 1:10

Optimist Performance (Age 12-15 / <43kg)

    • Training days and times: Saturday and Sunday   0930-1630hrs
      • Optional Training Wednesday  1600hrs to 1800hrs
  • Sailors must have their own equipment, 10% discount in the coaching fees for the private boat owners
  • Monthly coaching fee 3100 HKD
  • Coach to sailors ratio 1:10

Laser 4.7 (Age 12-15/ 45-60kg) & Laser Radial (Age 14-18 / 60-75kg)

  • Training days and times Saturday/Sunday 0930-1630hrs
  • Fitness session TBA
  • Limited equipment can be provided by the RHKYC, 10% discount in the coaching fees for the private boat owners
  • Monthly coaching fee 3100 HKD
  • Coach to sailors ratio 1:12

Double handed team (Age 14-18 / 50-75kg)

  • Training days and times Saturdays and/or Sundays 0930-1630hrs
  • Fitness session TBA
  • Equipment will be provided by the Yacht Club
  • Monthly coaching fee 3100 HKD
  • Coach to sailors ratio 1:12
