Overseas Visitors


Visitors from Reciprocal Clubs, current members of an overseas sailing/rowing club with a letter introduction, may be granted visiting membership. Members may also introduce overseas visitors. Visitors will not be required to pay subscriptions for the first 14 days and their visiting membership may be extended for up to 3 months.

Any further extension is at the discretion of the General Committee and a payment of a subscription fee. A visitor may take advantage of the 14-day period of free subscription only once in every period of 12 months beginning with the date when he is first registered. These privileges may not be accorded on more than 2 occasions in any one period of 12 months commencing from the date of a visitor first registered.

Members introducing overseas guests may allow them signing rights on their own accounts. ( download form)

Otherwise, all visitors will be offered the choice of signing a blank credit card voucher and being given a credit account, or buying Octopus cards. Octopus cards are available from Reception from 0800 to 2200 hours daily. Outside of Reception's opening hours, Octopus Cards are available at the Main Bar. ( download form)

Visitors from Reciprocal Clubs and current members of an overseas sailing/rowing clubs are required to submit (a) an application form, (b) a letter of introduction from Home Club and (c) a copy of inbound travel schedule; at least ONE WEEK prior to their visit.
