Regatta Ball - Weird and Wonderful

Kellett Island | 1900hrs to 0700hrs

This year, the Regatta Ball invites you to step beyond the familiar and into Weird and Wonderful — a world where fairytales take a darker, more dazzling turn, and where elegance is laced with intrigue. As evening falls, the ordinary gives way to the extraordinary: flickers of shadow and light, curious details waiting to be discovered, and a sense that something magical may be waiting just beyond view. From dusk till dawn, you will find yourself drawn into a story where wonder lingers in every corner and the unexpected becomes part of the enchantment.

For one remarkable night, Kellett Island will be transformed into a realm of shimmering mystery and shadowed glamour, where every space invites your curiosity and every moment reveals another layer of the tale. Lavish dining, striking details, and live entertainment will unfold like scenes from an enchanting storybook — at once whimsical, theatrical, and unmistakably refined. From moments of spectacle to touches of quiet wonder, the evening is designed to captivate your senses and immerse you in an atmosphere where the strange feels beautiful and the beautiful feels spellbinding.

This will be an evening unlike any other — a celebration of splendour, fantasy, and all things beautifully unexpected. Whether you are drawn to the allure of shadowed glamour, the charm of whimsical storytelling, or the promise of extraordinary moments unfolding from dusk till dawn, you can expect an experience that dazzles, intrigues, and lingers long after the final curtain falls. Weird and Wonderful promises a night of curious beauty and unforgettable enchantment, and we look forward to welcoming you into this spellbinding world.

Dinner Ticket Price (1900hrs to 0700hrs)
Members $2,100 | Non-Members $2,800

The Full Dinner ticket includes a cocktail reception, canapés and entertainment in the carpark before you head in to the Clubhouse for a two-course set dinner and more entertainment! After dinner, roam around the Club and enjoy all of the various food stations dotted about. 12 hours of free flow drinks and live music, entertainment and performances throughout the entire event and of course join us at 0700hrs for the traditional Survivors Photo!

After 11 Ticket (2300hrs to 0700hrs)
Members $1,200 | Non-Members $1,700

The After 11 ticket grants entry from 2300hrs and includes everything up to 0700hrs.
Members who purchase tickets must be attending the Regatta Ball themselves. Each member account may apply for either one or two member tickets depending on their membership status; ie single membership = one member ticket and married membership = two member tickets. Members must make their own application online - one application per membership account. You may indicate a WISH for up to eight guest tickets. Single members will be guaranteed at least one guest.

Ticket Application and Distribution
• Registration opens on Wednesday 10 June at 1000hrs.
• Applications will only be accepted using the online form - use the REGISTER NOW button at the bottom of your screen.
• There are two ticket application phases: 
• In Phase 1 members are given priority over guests. Once member tickets have been allocated, we will then allocate the remaining tickets to guests of members. On Friday 28 August at 1200hrs, all members will be sent an email inviting them to check their allocation online. For the avoidance of doubt, members should mark their diaries to check the members section of the website on 28 August to check their allocation.
• In Phase 2, should we have any remaining tickets, they will be sold on a first come first served basis (members or guests).

Cancellations
• Cancellations must be received no later than midday on Thursday 10 September. Members can expect their accounts to be debited at the same time.
• Cancellations may only be done by email to  regattaball@rhkyc.org.hk .

Ticket Collection
• Tickets will be sent in the form of e-tickets in November to members via the email indicated during online registration.

Seating
• If you have been allocated guest tickets your guests are automatically sat with you. If you wish to sit with other members, please indicate this on the application form. Seating requests received after midday Thursday 10 September will only be considered on a case by case basis and late seating requests may not be able to be fulfilled. If you are a single or a couple and are worried you don’t know anyone, we assure you that you will have a great time and we will seat you with others. If you have a large group, we may split tables but they will be situated next to / near each other. We may add people to your table also. The final seating plan will be shared in the few days leading up to the Regatta Ball.
