Poderi e Cantine Oddero is a historic brand among the producers of Barolo, whose foundation dates back to the late 18th and 19th centuries. Giovanni Battista Oddero, and later his sons Lorenzo and Luigi, began to make wine grapes produced from vineyards located in the municipality of La Morra.

In 1878, Giacomo Oddero, ahead of his time, decided to bottle his wines under the family name, starting an adventure that has continued, uninterrupted, through seven generations.
