Sponsorship Assistant Manager

(Closing date of application: 25 July 2018)
This position reports directly to the Head of Sponsorships and Corporate Partnerships and is responsible for managing corporate partners once partnership deals have been agreed and signed for Sailing, Rowing, Paddle Sports and other Club Events.  The role also needs to interact closely with Sailing, Rowing, Paddling and other Club Events Promotion so that partner needs can be delivered on during these events; with PR and Communications to ensure that partners receive the required media exposure; and with Operations/F&B to ensure that partner events are suitably catered for according to the partnership agreement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Sponsorships and Corporate Partnerships in researching possible sponsors and partners.
  • Assist the Head of Sponsorships and Corporate Partnerships in preparing pitch documents, supplemental materials and thank you letters for existing and prospective corporate partners.
  • Manage the corporate partner contract and budget to ensure contractual commitments are delivered.
  • Manage the corporate partner request process ensuring that all requests are logged, communicated to relevant parties and responses provided to all enquiries, and ensures brand programmes are optimised and delivered to agreed milestones.
  • Report to corporate partners on progress against the contractual obligations.
  • Manage the event-day requirements of the partner including Sailing, Rowing , Paddling and Operation needs (working with Sailing, Rowing, Paddling and Operation), F&B needs (working with F&B), media exposure (working with PR and Communications).
  • Seek feedback post-event that the corporate partner is satisfied with the event outcomes.
  • Work closely with PR and Communications on the delivery of social media strategy.

We look for an experienced professional with:

  • A minimum of two years experience from a relevant filed or in event management and/or account management from within an agency.
  • Good experience in working with international sporting associations/bodies.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Microsoft Office software, like Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Good organization skill and be able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Must be prepared to work on some weekends and public holidays.

     

Waiters/Waitresses

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years’ food & beverage experience.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • A team player with outgoing personality.
  • Good manner.

 

Captain

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years’ food & beverage experience and preferably gained in a hotel or club.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Good manner, leadership and problem solving skill.
  • A team player with outgoing personality.
  • Customer-oriented.

 

Chef de Partie/Senior Cook/Cook

Requirements:

  • At least five years’ experience in Western cuisine.
  • Good communications skill.
  • Creative and quality-oriented.
  • Must be well-versed in kitchen hygiene.
  • An ability to read and understand simple English.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Cook.
