China Coast Race Week 2016 comprises China Coast Regatta from 22 to 24 October and the 2016 Hong Kong to Hainan Race which will take place from 3 to 6 November.
The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club cordially invites entries from yachts for the 2016 China Coast Race Week (CCRW).
CCRW comprises the China Coast Regatta 2016, sailed over three days in the waters south and east of Hong Kong Island, and then the Hong Kong to Hainan Race 2016, an Offshore Category One race of 390 nautical miles from Hong Kong to Sanya, Hainan.
Hainan is a great finishing point for boats intending to continue on to other sailing events included on the established Asian circuit, in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Australia.
Boats are welcome to enter the full CCRW 2016 or to enter either of its constituent events, to suit their own schedule. Both the China Coast Regatta 2016 and the Hong Kong to Hainan Race 2016 are stand-alone events and have their own Notice of Race, Sailing Instructions, parties and prizes.
Boats which compete in both the China Coast Regatta 2016 and the Hong Kong to Hainan Race 2016 will be eligible for prizes overall under IRC handicap.
To allow boats to also compete in the China Cup International Regatta, the Hong Kong to Hainan Race is scheduled for a later start date. The China Cup International Regatta will take place from 26th to 30th October in the waters of Shenzhen and Hong Kong and will consist of four days of racing, www.chncup.com
