Swimming Pool

Towels are available in both Changing Rooms and at the Poolside.

During weekdays members may invite guests, for whom there will be a charge. NO GUESTS ARE ALLOWED ON WEEKENDS OR PUBLIC HOLIDAYS. Any member who fails to present a membership card at the Pool will be subject to a penalty. Single (unmarried) Members may apply for a guest card for pool use at any time, for which a charge is made.

Pool Bar Service

Early Access to Swimming Pool
Please note that early access to the pool start from 0630hrs. There is no life guard on duty between 0630hrs and the official opening hours stated above. Adult members may swim at their own risk. Children are prohibited from entering the pool until it is officially open.

Playground

The Waterside doubles as a childrens' playground as well as a beautifully located waterfront function area with views across the Harbour of Kowloon. On weekends and public holidays you can enjoy a barbecue while the children enjoy the toys!

Squash

RHKYC has two air-conditioned squash courts situated between the Bistro and The men's changing rooms. Access to the spectator gallery is either from the ladies' changing room or from the staircase linking that Bar and the Bistro. Courts may be booked through the Club Reception, who can also provide square rackets on loan with a deposit of HK$200. Squash balls are available for purchase. Players are asked to respect the dress code posted on the squash court doors, particularly regarding the wearing of non-marking rubber soled shoes which leave difficult to remove black marks on the special timber floors.

Last bookings 2215hrs. Bookings can be made up to 14 days in advance: on-line via the Club’s web site or at Reception, or by ringing Reception between 0800hrs and 2200 hrs.  After 2200hrs courts can be booked in person only in the Main Bar.
 

Gymnasium

For the exclusive use by Members. No booking required. Opens at 0630hrs daily.

Self-Service Mini Bar in the Gym
Pocari, Coke Zero and Evian on a self-service chit signing basis now available.

Snooker

The Snooker Room, which is one of the best kept secrets at the Club. It was officially opened in 1984 by the then Snooker World Champion, Steve Davis, who played a demonstration game for members.

Keys available from the Bistro. Players must be over 16 years old.

Bowling

The Bowling Lanes are a favourite with members of all ages. We have Adult, Youth and Junior bowling leagues.

Bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance: on-line via the Club’s web site or at Bowling Alley or by ringing  Bowling Alley when open or Reception on 2832 2817 between 0800 and 1100hrs. After 2230hrs lanes can be booked in person only in the Main Bar.

Children under the age of 6 are not allowed to bowl. Children between 6 and 16 years must be supervised by an adult Member.

House Rules

Children
Children under the age of 12 must remain under the personal supervision of a responsible Member over 18 years of age at all times whilst on Club premises. Children are permitted to dine at any F&B outlet at any time with the exception that they may only have lunch in the Compass Room on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays, and dinner there on Sundays, Firework night(s), Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and tea at the Club’s Children’s Christmas Party, and they may attend private functions to which they have been invited as a guest and any other occasions approved from time to time by the General Committee. They are not permitted in the Kellett Island Main Bar after 1800hrs.

Mobile Phones / Audible Pagers
Usage is limited. They are prohibited except in the Telephone Room, courtyard, the metal platform and steps to the Waterside, the carpark and hardstanding areas.

Domestic Helpers
Domestic Helpers are not allowed on Club premises.
