2013 Sam Kelly Memorial Award

Michael Shasha

The Commodore advised that the General Committee unanimously agreed that the award should go to Michael Shasha for his commitment to the Club. In the past Mr Shasha had been heavily involved in the planning and running of various Young Members Sub-Committee events including the Pool Parties and Pub Quiz nights, where he had also been the Quizmaster and MC. He had continued to be an active member of the Rowing Committee, acting as coordinator of the on-water and social activities of the Rowing Section, in particular through his role as the men’s racing co-ordinator and as part of the coaching and management team for the Henley Royal Regatta campaign. An award was presented to Mr Shasha.
