The Around the Island Race (ATIR) is a 44km non-stop row around Hong Kong Island, in which the rowers compete against themselves, as well as against other rowing boats and the outrigger canoes. While the event takes advantage of the stunning coastline of Hong Kong, we should always treasure our natural environment. On the date of ATIR 2016, a long distance ergo relay challenge will be held with the aim to raise money for Ocean Recovery Alliance, an umbrella organization which operates and organizes a variety of sub-projects in help improving our ocean environment.
