Saturday, 18 July (0900hrs - 1300hrs) Middle Island

This event is now fully booked.  You may put your name on the waiting list by clicking the 'Book Now' link at the top of this page, and we will get in touch should space become available.

After the recent months of being (mostly) confined at home, wouldn’t it be great to be outside again, get some fresh air and do something for the marine environment as well?

Debris in the water, and on our beaches, is becoming more and more of an issue. And people, our members especially, are more and more aware of the necessity to be involved in Marine Conservation, of which beach cleanups are a great way to have an impact.

Join our next beach cleanup on Sat 18 July which is a great half-day out. We will meet at Middle Island in the morning and motor out to Round Island, where we will spend about 1.5 hours collecting trash. There will be a RIB in the water, and dragonboat teams will join the effort as well. Bring your kids, bring your dogs, bring friends - make it a great morning and help the environment at the same time!

And if you and your family are interested in Marine Conservation we will soon be launching a series of events, including educational speakers, more cleanups and other events. Stay tuned!

Please click the 'Book Now' link at the top of this page or email so that we know who are joining.
