Saturday, 28 March (0900hrs - 1300hrs) Middle Island

The clear blue water. Clear blue sky (well, as clear as it gets in Hong Kong).  The sand under your feet. And then - there is plastic. The closer you look, the more you see. If only you had an hour, just an hour, and a trash bag. And maybe some fun people around you to make collecting trash more enjoyable.

Debris in the water, and on our beaches, is becoming more and more of an issue. And people, our members especially, are more and more aware of the necessity to be involved in Marine Conservation, of which beach cleanups are a great way to have an impact.

Join our next beach cleanup on Sat 28 Mar which is a great half-day out. We meet at Middle Island in the morning and will motor out to Round Island, where we will spend about 1.5 hours collecting trash. There will be a RIB in the water, and dragonboat teams will join the effort as well. Bring your kids, bring your dogs, bring friends - make it a great morning and help the environment as well.

Please click the 'Book Now' link at the top of this page or email so that we know who are joining.
