ELI, Etiquette & Leadership Institute is back at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club with its signature children's program!

This course introduces children to essential leadership skills that they will use for the rest of their lives.  It covers social and Western dining etiquette.

Everyday Etiquette for Children
- Feel confident when meeting new people
- Create a strong first impression by introducing yourself with good eye contact, firm
  handshakes, and clear voice
- Be an emerging leader by introducing people to each other with a generous and
  open attitude
- Build rapport by graciously giving and receiving compliments
- Make friends by learning the key principles of polite conversation
- Develop a service mindset by showing kindness at home and in the community

Western Dining Skills & Table Manners
- Feel confident in most formal meals
- Be helpful at home because you can set a table properly
- Create a positive impression with appropriate dining skills and table manners
- Be an enjoyable dinner companion because you show respect and courtesy
- Topics:  How to be seated, posture, napkin; Simple and fancy place settings; How
  to handle silverware; How to eat soup; Continental European style of dining
- Light snacks served (bread and butter, chocolate "soup", banana, sponge cake)

Tuesday 13, 20, 27 Nov; 4, 11, 18 Dec
(Total 9 hours on 6 days, 1.5 hours/session)

Time:

1715hrs to 1845hrs for 10 to 12 years

Fee:

$3,060 per member for 9 hours
$3,366 per member's guest for 9 hours

*Registration by Tue 30 Oct is necessary.

Instructor:
Ms Bernice Lee, Hong Kong's Trusted Etiquette Expert, has taught 2,000+ people from 23 countries.  She was featured in the SCMP, Apple Daily, and Time Out Magazine.  She teaches children in seven country clubs, teenagers in secondary schools, adult private clients, and corporations.  She holds an etiquette certification from the U.S. and degrees from Yale and Cornell.
