Labruyere Family Estate Wine Dinner

This wine dinner was originally on Thursday 5 September 2024. Due to Typhoon No. 8, it has been postponed to Thursday 17 October 2024. 

The history of wine in the Labruyère family began in the 19th century in Moulin-à-Vent. Their passion for the different terroirs of France has subsequently been handed down from one generation to the next, with the family extending its expertise from the Grands Crus of Burgundy to Champagne via Bordeaux.

Domaine Labruyère, in the hands of the Labruyère family since 1850, is constantly reinventing itself. The entire team strive to awaken the terrific terroirs of Moulin-à-Vent by producing wines that aren’t just spectacular when they’re young but also age incredibly well. Respect for the individual character of each plot, together with the use of sophisticated Burgundy wine-making techniques, mean that Gamay is one of the world’s finest and most complex grape varieties.

In 2012, the JM Labruyère Grand Cru Champagne brand was created in Verzenay. The Labruyère family did not choose the location by chance. An unofficial classification from 1873 ranked this Grand Cru village on the Montagne de Reims as one of the three best crus in Champagne.
