Early sampan for weekday paddling and rowing.

New orders / New designs
There is a need for some new social shirts for the section, so get in touch now if you want some input.

Head of the Bay Regatta

There will be many visiting rowers and it is the biggest rowing event on our calendar.

Kellett Island Day

Sunday 3 June
This is a general fun day for the family with many activities. The Rowing Section have been asked to help with the Indoor Rowing race set up
.

While the Rowing Association are providing the computer linked racing set up (as per ergo champs) and a technician, we've been asked to provide a few volunteers to ensure the tent is always manned by someone who can help out with a bit of coaching.

Sign up for an hour any time between 11am and 4pm.

Rowing

Shing Mun 2 - 27 May
Keep Mike and Alex up to date with your availability for the second Open regatta of the season.

Festival of Sport Indoor Challenge
The event is on 17 June, but entries are closing on 18 May.

There are 1000m and 2000m individual events for Junior and Open, a 4x500m team event and also a rather unusual 2000m pairs event with two rowers using sliders.

Training one-piece suit?
A few of the Shatin rowers have commented that they don't have any decent training kit and don't want to wear out their race day uniform.

Jonny is investigating a training suit from a different manufacturer (New Wave) to help fill this need.

Contact Jonny with any ideas for specification or design.
