Hong
Kong to Vietnam Race 2006
The
Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club is pleased to announce that its
very popular China Coast Race Week 2006 will again culminate
with the Hong Kong to Vietnam Race. The Race, which is a
656-mile "downhill slide" to Nha Trang on the
southeast coast of Vietnam, will start on Wednesday 25th
October 2006; The Race record is currently held by Grant
Wharington’sSkandia Wild Thing, which did the crossing in
42 hours, 45 minutes and 41 seconds in 2004 and is the one
to beat! Come and try!
As
an added attraction, Vietnam is a great jumping-off point
for boats intending to continue on to other seasonal sailing
regattas and events in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and
Australia. For all enquiries, please contact: Alex Johnston,
Sailing Manager - RHKYC. Tel: (+852 2239-0362), Fax: (+852
2239-0364),
