Saturday, 11 March Kellett Island

Victoria Harbour was a major venue for rowing in Hong Kong as early as 1896, however, with both the sport and its races relocating to less busy waters in the intervening period, rowing regattas have been absent from the iconic Hong Kong harbour skyline for over 40 years.

The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club, in partnership with the Hong Kong, China Rowing Association, is bringing the excitement of competition back to where it all started, with the 1st Harbour Regatta,  to be held on 11 March 2017.

The race will include events for crews from secondary schools, universities and other rowing clubs across Hong Kong. If you would like to get more information, please visit the website at <www.hkharbourregatta.com>.
