10 August - pouring small stones into the sea where the hard standing is going to be. The small stones are currently forming small hills and the next step would be to level them out to form a flat base upon which the concrete blocks will be laid.

- an inspection hole has been made on the Hong Kong side at the area where the sewage pipes meet the land so that workers may inspect the underground area for pipes etc.
- the drilling equipment has arrived on site and we anticipate boring to commence in the next two weeks
- final approval has been received for the commencement of works for the hardstand
- the sea wall blocks are under construction
- the final look of the finished project has been finalised taking on board members' requirements
- we have recommenced water quality monitoring - this will take place on a monthly basis
10 July - hoarding has been erected on the Hong Kong side to block off the drill test area
29 June - concrete blocks used to make a platform from which to test the seabed.
29 June - drilling equipment is delivered by barge.
15 June - A 'trial pit' is dug about 4m from the slipway. This is to see if there is any hard bedrock which would hinder the drilling across to the Hong Kong side.
15 June - After drilling in the 'trial pit' only small stones are found and water comes through.
15 June - These two pipe holes will hold the new sewage pipes which will eventually be connected to the mains on HK side.
