Facilities and Technical Manager

This is a senior management position reporting directly to the Club Operations Manager. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating, overseeing and managing the daily activities, round the clock operations, preventive and corrective maintenance of the building and M&E plants, risk management, emergency response plan, including the improvement and replacement works to comply with the latest standards, statutory requirements and regulations within our three clubhouses.

  • Lead a team of technical workers to handle all repair and maintenance works for three clubhouses.
  • Set up, implement and review maintenance programs for all the equipment and facilities.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specification and tender documents for repair and maintenance works.
  • Provide technical advice and recommendations on repairs and improvement works.
  • Handle and administer tendering processes and follow up all related documentations.
  • Co-ordinate, manage and monitor the performance of various contractors and ensure they are in compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Prepare forecast and budget for major and capital works.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

We look for someone with:

  • A degree in Building Services/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Professional qualification (HKIE, CIBSE, IFMA, IMechE & IEE) is desirable but not a must.
  • Valid certification of Registration of Electrical Worker, Construction Industry Safety Training, etc.
  • Minimum 10 years’ post-qualification experience in building, mechanical and electrical engineering with not less than five years at management level.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, management and customer service skills.
  • A team player with business maturity, enthusiasm and positive attitude.
  • Excellent time-management, communication, technical writing, presentation development and facilitation skills.
  • Problem solving and negotiating skills along with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Sound knowledge in all technical aspects of engineering and maintenance.
  • A proactive, detailed and deadline oriented and able to work well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and AutoCAD.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
