Senior Rowing Coach

This is a management position reporting directly to the Rowing and Paddle Sports Manager.

The successful candidate will have the responsibility to develop and organise all RHKYC Rowing programs at both our Middle Island and Shing Mun facilities and lead an experienced team of full-time and part-time coaches to deliver these programs. Additionally, he/she will work closely with the Rowing and Paddle Sports Manager to ensure safety policies and framework are current and will work with other full time coaches to organise the repair and maintenance of the RHKYC Rowing fleet. The candidate will also have the opportunity to assist the Club in organising and running high-level rowing events in order to develop rowing at the Club and within Hong Kong.

Requirements:

  • Recognized rowing coaching qualification (at least HKCRA/ UKCC Level 2 or equivalent)
  • Over eight years’ rowing experience at a high level (high school, university or club)
  • Over five years’ coaching experience (university, juniors and novices an advantage)
  • Fluent in written & spoken English.  Spoken Chinese or Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Current First Aider and holder of HK Pleasure Vessel Operator Grade 2 Qualification or equivalent would be an advantage

 

IT Support Officer

Requirements:

  • Higher diploma holder or above in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years working experience in related disciplines with solid technical support experience.
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Network Infrastructure.
  • Knowledge in Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL is a plus.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Self-motivated and an ability to provide quality user support service.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance support to users and ensure high availability, secure and reliable computer environment.
  • Provide in-house support and troubleshoot problems on systems, network, software and hardware.
  • Perform system installation, configuration and system administration for software, hardware and its peripherals network related issues.
  • Act as a technical contact to external vendors for hardware maintenance, software support and other IT related issues.
