First Aid CPR and AED courses

Standard First Aid, CPR and AED Course

Refresher course is only available to those who hold a valid NSC Standard First Aid & CPR/AED certificate or one that expires in the same month.

Dates will be published as soon as there are confirmed.  

For refreshers, the students are encourage to complete the courses within one day with better learning experiences and Refreshers course fees will be charged.  This course is only available to those who hold a valid NSC Standard First Aid & CPR & AED certificate or one that expires in the same month. HF/ GMDSS/DSC Radio Operator Course

The aim of these courses is to operate VHF & MF/HF DSC/TRANSCEIVERS, NAVTEX, SART, EPIRB and IMMARSAT C equipment. To send and receive: Distress, Urgency, Safety alerts/communications and communications relating to ships business and other routine traffic. To increase the safety of small vessels at sea.

Entries can be made on a first-come first-served basis by returning a completed application form and they can be sent to us by scanned email, post, or online form. Acknowledge Receipt will be sent by email once received the form.

Long Range Radio Autumn Weekends

Course: 25 and 26Nov, 9 and 10Dec 2017 (1000hrs to 1830hrs )
Exams : 11,12,13 and 14Dec 2017 (1830hrs to 2100hrs)

HK Pleasure Vessel Operators Certificate of Competence Course 

This course prepares students for the HK Marine Department Examinations. The students may go to the HK Marine Department  to register your exam.

Part A (Master)

Dates: 21, 22 and 23 November 2017
Time: 7.00pm – 10.15pm
(Syllabus: Rules, Lights,  Shapes, Buoyage and Signals, Seamanship, Local knowledge and the Laws of Hong Kong Fire & gas precautions.)

Part B (Engineer)

Dates: 12 and 14 December 2017
Time:  6.30pm – 10.30pm
(Syllabus : Engine general construction,  Diesel & Petrol fuel, fuel systems, electrical systems, ignition systems, Lubrication, cooling & pumps, transmission systems, operation & maintenance, fire & gas precautions.)
